Hebi City is located in North Henan, with an area of 2,182 square kilometers and a population of 1.8 million. Hebi has jurisdiction over two counties, three districts, one national-level economic and technological development zone, one provincial-level economic and technological development zone, and one provincial-level urban- rural integration demonstration zone. It is named after the legend that crane perches on the cliff of the Nanshan Mountain and is famous for rich coal resources.
