Overview

Hebi City is located in North Henan, with an area of 2,182 square kilometers and a population of 1.8 million. Hebi has jurisdiction over two counties, three districts, one national-level economic and technological development zone, one provincial-level economic and technological development zone, and one provincial-level urban- rural integration demonstration zone. It is named after the legend that crane perches on the cliff of the Nanshan Mountain and is famous for rich coal resources. Today, Hebi is well-known for the Qihe River, the only river in North China flowing through the urban area but free from industrial pollution and Qihe Culture. Hebi is a livable, pro- business and ecological tourist city boasting profound cultural heritage.
